Aric Asplund is the founder of Vestara business brokerage based in West Des Moines, Iowa, focused on helping small business owners transition their companies into the hands of the next generation. With a background in leadership, operations, and business development, Aric brings a practical, no-nonsense approach to buying and selling businesses — especially for owners who value discretion, legacy, and a personal touch.
After spending 20 years leading and advising distribution and manufacturing companies, Aric understands the ins and outs of what makes a small business work — and what makes it sellable. He launched his brokerage with a clear mission: to make the transition process smoother for business owners who are ready to move on but want to make sure their company ends up in good hands.
Aric holds an MBA from the University of Iowa and a B.A. from Luther College. He’s also the owner of Tangible Tactics, a firm that provides strategy and digital support for small and mid-sized companies.
